Safety and Education
We strive to treat our patients like family and want to keep them in the best of health. Infection control is very important in our office. We strictly follow the standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Patient education is also an important part of a professional dental office. Education helps patients maintain their oral health and prevent future oral health problems. At regular dental appointments, we provide thorough exams and routine cleanings. Additionally, we keep patients informed about their overall health and can answer any questions about oral hygiene or treatment options.
Dental Services and Technology in Our Fleming Island Office
Our dental office uses state-of-the-art dental technology and modern dental treatments to provide precise care. These treatments and technologies also provide a more customized experience for our patients:
Cone-beam computed tomography uses cone-shaped x-rays to take a detailed image of the smile. With CBCT scans, we can see the soft tissues, nerves, and bones. A complete image of the smile allows us to see problems like bone loss, gum disease, and tooth decay. CBCT scans are helpful tools for restorative dentistry and help us determine implant placement.
Dental implants are restorations that use titanium posts to secure a single dental crown, dental bridge, or denture. Implants create a stable foundation that can seamlessly restore one or more missing teeth. Traditional restorations simply lay on the gum tissue and do not support the health of the natural teeth, gums, and jaw bones.
Zoom! Teeth Whitening
Our in-office and take-home whitening treatments can offer effective, convenient treatment for patients who want to create brighter smiles. Each whitening treatment is customized to each patient. During treatment, we use a shade guide to determine the current shade of their smile and their goal shade. Zoom! uses two layers: the whitening gel, which contains active ingredients to brighten the smile, and a sealing layer. This treatment method can deliver results about four shades whiter.
Same-Day Dental Crowns
We use computer-aided manufacturing and design to create same-day dental crowns. Conventional dental crowns can take weeks as they require another dental lab to mill the restorations. To create the crowns, we use an intraoral scanner that creates a computer model of the teeth and gums. We customize the specifications of the crowns and send them to a milling machine.
